APA Communities host discussions between members and APA groups.
You must log in with your psychiatry.org credentials, and click on "Communities" and then "My Communities" to view the groups to which you have access.
Within your community, you can read announcements and read, reply and post discussions. You can also interact with discussions through email, and set your preferences for email by clicking the Settings box in the banner of your community.
Click this box within your community to change email preferences
For each discussion, you have the following email delivery options:
- - Real time: sends an email every time a new message is posted
- - Daily digest: sends one email to you each day, consolidating all of the posts from the previous day
- - No Email: allows you to be part of the group and interact online, without having emails sent to you
